CROP WATCH AFRICA is looking to partner with dynamic companies, organizations and individuals. If you are excited and passionate about agriculture, join us. Our quest is to establish a proper Early Warning and Detection system for Invasive Alien Pests that serves to improve rural and farm activities throughout Southern Africa, all while building a genuine understanding and appreciation for the role agriculture plays in society, the environment and the economy.
Our strategies are to:
Manage an effective Early Warning System throughout Southern Africa efficiently;
Improve the internal organisational structures;
Coordinate the communication mix (press releases, newsletter and map portal) and to facilitate external communication;
Maintain economic visibility (e.g. regular comment on developments in agricultural policy, agriculture and agribusiness issues relating to invasive pests);
Manage the business office; Market the EWS;
Improve our products and services;
Seek strategic alliances.
Although we generate funds through our commercial offerings, the Early Warning System still depends on outside partnerships to achieve its stated objectives as efficiently as possible. We have built excellent relationships with various partners, and would like to strengthen and improve these relationships in the future.
